On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, Tuscarora Nation elder, James Bissell, is coming to educate the RIT community on how to make traditional water drums and their purpose to the Haudenosaunee. The event will take place in the CSD Student Development Center 1300 from 4PM-5:30PM. Attendees will learn how to make a water drum through step-by-step instructions in addition to learning about the proper use in the Haudenosaunee community. All attendees will leave with a small keepsake drum (keychain) that they will learn to put together themselves towards the end of the event!
