Join the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent for World Benefit on Wednesday, January 24 at 5:00 PM EST in PBL 03 for an information session about our Business for World Benefit Clinic program for the Spring 2024 semester.

This program is designed to connect students to aspiring B Corporations. B Corp Certification is a certification that measures a company's entire social and environmental performance. Companies are matched with a team of students to go through the assessment process and identify strategies they can take to improve their B Impact Assessment (BIA) scores. Students will gain hands-on consulting experience and the chance to learn about social and environmental impact assessment and sustainable business models.

Listen what our student participants have to say:

“I learned a lot about what it takes to get a growing small business out of the gate.” - MBA student

“Most exciting part of my journey was the ability to apply accounting and financial concepts to sort the financial data and using QuickBooks.” - MEM student

“I found understanding the company’s business model and how that would interact with our pursuit of the B certification interesting.” - BA student

“I have learned the practicality of starting a B Corp assessment.” - BA student

Join us on January 24th to learn more about this program and the companies participating this time. Attending this info-session does not commit you to the program. You will have the opportunity to apply to participate after the event. Students from all majors and programs are welcome to attend and apply to participate in the program.
