Site Information:  The Cleveland Heights Public Library proides free after school homework help at its Lee Road Branch for learners in grades K-8.

Service Information: Volunteers will work with groups of young people to provide homework help or guide youth in literacy, STEM, or related skill-building activities and games in a library setting. While helpful, volunteers do not need to have prior experience in providing academic assistance to youth.

Time commitment: This site requires a weekly commitment for one semester and takes place on Mondays from 3:15 to 5:15 pm, which includes transportation time. Transportation is provided in the CCEL van by a CCEL Student Leader. Registered students will serve on the following 8 Mondays: 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/4, 3/18, 4/15, and 4/22.

Pre-Service Requirement: a background check is required to volunteer at this site. Once you register, you will receive more information on how to complete the background check at no cost to you. Results must be received before you can start service.
