Please join us for a VITALS panel discussion on Disability Health Equity. While more than 20% of Americans live with a disability, there is still a call for greater attention to address concerns within medical school curriculums, hospital resources, clinical accommodations, and clinical treatment. Additionally, there is also a need to heighten awareness of advancements and disparities in healthcare among Physicians and patients with disabilities. Currently, 3.1% of practicing physicians have a disability. Increasing physician diversity would have a positive impact on patient care and practice.
