AI/ChatGPT: Implications for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

It seems that pros/cons, ideas and concerns, and curious conversations about ChatGPT are popping up everywhere in higher education. So, what is this artificial intelligence technology and how might it impact teaching and student learning in university classrooms? Join UCITE Director Matthew Garrett and [U]Tech Teaching and Learning Technologies Director Tina Oestreich for a discussion around Chat GPT Frequently Asked Questions. Folks who register for the event in advance will be provided with a recent article from Faculty Focus, an online newsletter featuring higher education teaching strategies.

Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistants are invited to participate in UCITE's First Friday event on March 3, from 11:30am-12:30pm in the Herrick Room of the Allen Memorial Medical Library. Join us for an informal conversation over a pizza lunch, as we share ideas and concerns around this new technology.
