Semester Serves volunteers will work with groups of elementary-age youth (3rd-5thgrade) at Bolton Elementary School located in the Fairfax Neighborhood.  Volunteers will work with 3rd through 5th grade students at Bolton Elementary School located in the Fairfax Neighborhood.  Every Friday volunteers work with a group of students during their lunch playing games, conversing, and participating in other recreational and educational activities.  Volunteers provide support, friendship, and positive role modeling to the students.  While helpful, volunteers do not need to have prior experience working with youth.

This site requires a commitment of one semester and takes place on Fridays from 11:30 to 1:15 p.m., which includes transportation time. Transportation is provided in the CCEL van by the CCEL Serves Student Leader. The specific dates of the program are Fridays; 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/24, 3/3, 3/31, 4/14, 4/21 & 4/28.

Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
