Semester Serves volunteers will work with groups of elementary-age youth (K-8) at Cleveland Heights Public Library at the Lee Road Location. The volunteers will provide after school homework help or guide youth (grades K-8) in literacy, STEM, or related skill-building activities and games in a library setting. While helpful, volunteers do not need to have prior experience in providing academic assistance to youth.

This site requires a commitment of one semester and takes place on Mondays from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m., which includes transportation time. Transportation is provided in the CCEL van by the CCEL Serves Student Leader. The specific dates of the program are Mondays; 9/19, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5

Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
