Returning Civic Engagement Scholars who have previously participated in the Scholars program are required to complete a Fall Training. This year's training is to attend one of the below Cleveland History Center tours. Tour times vary between September 22-October 1, and early sign up is encouraged as spots are limited per tour. Scholars will assemble on the wooden steps in the food court of the Tinkham Veale University Center at the start times listed below to check in before walking together to the Cleveland History Center (a short walk from campus). You will be at the Cleveland History Center for about 1.5 hours, so the timeframe listed below factors in total walking time to/from the site and campus. Time spent participating in this required Fall training cannot be double counted towards civic engagement hours.
Please register as soon as possible for ONE of the below events. If your preferred date is full, please join the waitlist. If you are unable to make any of the below times due to academic conflicts or other concerns or if you are uncomfortable attending, please contact Erin Corwin, erin.corwin@case.edu as soon as possible or indicate this on your Scholars enrollment form.
If you have not already done so, please make sure to complete the Civic Engagement Scholars application by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 18 in addition to registering for this event in order to officially become enrolled in the program: https://cglink.me/2cS/s73826
