Schedule of Events:
Monday, August 22
1-3pm: Volunteer Leader training
Tuesday, August 23
3-5pm: Reception for participating students
Wednesday, August 24
8:30 AM: Check in
9 AM: Welcome and grab-n-go breakfast
9:30 AM: Load buses and travel to service locations
10 AM - 12 PM: Service at various locations
12:30 PM: Arrive back to campus
12:45 PM: Lunch and Reflection
Upperclassmen Volunteer Leaders will be responsible for:
Attending the mandatory Volunteer Leader training on August 22nd.
The Office of Leadership & Learning will provide training, support and materials to all Volunteer Leaders, as well as arrange all volunteer recruitment, event logistics, and transportation.
Attending the welcome reception on Tuesday, August 23rd.
Facilitating logistics to safely get new students to and from their service site, completing the service project with their group, and facilitating reflection/evaluation.
