Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) at DU is an annual event designed to raise awareness of mental health issues and resources and decrease stigma related to mental health. The week is in conjunction with national Mental Health Month, which aims to eradicate mental health stigma across the nation and increase accessibility to mental health resources. Health Promotion works with campus and community partners during this week to provide educational programming and outreach for students, as well as the greater DU community.

This comprehensive training and related materials will provide you with everything you need to become a recovery ally on the DU campus to ultimately change the campus culture. The DU Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) is committed to ensuring that recovery is a part of the conversation on college campuses when we address high risk drinking and other drug misuse. For far too long, supporting students in recovery and providing target interventions and support services to those with substance use disorders was not a part of our continuum of care. We want to change that. That is why we hope you will attend the RECOVERY ALLY TRAINING
