AABA invites all members and affinity club members to learn about political activism with Ross alumna, Sheela Lal. As a part of AABA's celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, this workshop will equip attendees with a better understanding of the dynamics behind government, policy, and advocacy. Join us as we learn about organizing for impact and using the mechanisms politics and policy to implement progressive change.

Sheela Lal is a 2019 MBA grad and currently works in tech consulting. She has spent over half her life practicing political engagement and education. At Ross, she was known for her "This Week in Michigan" email, building political education events, and acting as a soundboard for her peers' questions. She cares a lot about empowering business students to build their political muscle, especially because businesses influence policy. You can find her organizing with Rising Voices of Asian American Families and Accountability for Dearborn.
Food Provided (first 50 registered attendees will be reimbursed for dinner (up to $15))
