Mari Kimura, PhD

Hailed by The New York Times as “a virtuoso playing at the edge”, Mari Kimura is a violinist/composer and a leading figure in the field of interactive computer music. As an educator, Mari is the founding chair of Future Music Lab at the Atlantic Music Festival since 2013, and has been a graduate faculty at Juilliard since 1998. In 2017, Mari was appointed as a Full Professor of Music at “Integrated Composition, Improvisation, and Technology” program (ICIT) at University of California, Irvine.
Mari's most recent efforts include composing with motion sensor. She developed MUGIC™, a IoT device for musical performance and beyond. In September 2020, Mari released MUGIC™ commercially. MUGIC™ is now available at https://mugicmotion.com/

Jenny Woo is the Founder and creator of award-winning Emotional Intelligence games, 52 Essential Conversations and 52 Essential Relationships. As seen featured in the Harvard Gazette.
Jenny Woo is a Ph.D. student specializing in Human Development in Context (HDiC). She received her Master's in Mind, Brain, and Education from Harvard University where she conducted program evaluations at The Center on the Developing Child. Following graduation, she continued her role at Harvard's Teaching and Learning Lab as a facilitator for How People Learn, a foundational course for all Master's of Education students. Jenny also has an MBA from UC Berkeley where she worked as a Career Coach and Graduate School Instructor in Leadership Communications.
