06.24.2021 Professional Development Workshop - Diversity in the Workplace - Virtual

In order to receive full credit for attending the workshop, you must be on the call for the entire duration and participate in any discussions, activities, polls, etc... If you do not stay on the call for the whole presentation, you will not earn credit for the workshop.

Make sure you sign into Zoom using your full name so that we can identify you on the attendance sheet. If you're using your phone to dial in, you must put your name in the chat, or list your phone number on the registration sheet.

If you sign on more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, you will not be admitted into the meeting. In the event you cannot access the meeting, or are having trouble getting in, you must email PROS@ung.edu to inform us of the issues.

The Diversity in the Workplace workshop discusses how the workplace makeup is constantly changing and evolving. Diversity isn't always something measurable and also includes education, personality, and experiences. As companies learn to maximize the potential of all employees, innovation and returns increase.

You will need to RSVP for this event and you will need to make sure you sign in.

This workshop is the third workshop for the "core" portion of the PROS program. Students who attend the workshop should submit their reflection in Suitable within 30 days in order to to be eligible for PROS credit. This workshop may not be repeated for additional points.

A week before the workshop if there is not a minimum of 15 students who have RVSP'd, the workshop may be canceled. Please make sure to arrive on-time (if event is in-person) as the doors will be closing promptly to the start-time of the event and you will not be allowed to attend.
