Blue Devil Productions is proud to present comedian Kiry Shabazz on Tuesday, February 16th at 7:30PM in the MSC Great Hall located upstairs in the University of Wisconsin-Stout Memorial Student Center.

Kiry Shabazz grew up in the harsh, cold streets of Cleveland, Ohio. Not as a gangster, it's just that Cleveland is absolutely freezing in the winter. While working in a restaurant in 2011 he suddenly decided to leave it all behind and change his life, starting a meteoric, and lauded, career in comedy. His charismatic and witty style, punctuated with trademark hilarious punchlines, made him one of the best up-and-coming acts in Northern California. He has been told, "your comedy changed my life." He's never been able to tell if that's a good thing or bad thing, leading to the type of cyclical paranoia and insecurity that can only lead to torment and good comedy. Since 2018 he's been rapidly gaining ground as a sought-after act. He made his late-night debut on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he won the World Series of Comedy Competition AND the 2018 Stand Up NBC series. He's also been spotted on the Stand Up NBC Comedy Tour.

This event is sponsored by Blue Devil Productions of the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is FREE to all. This event is a part of Blue Devil Productions comedy series. Please call (715) 232-2432 or go to bdpstout.com for more information.
