Join Graduate Student Life, the Center for the Advancement of Well-Being, and Student Engagement for Racial Justice on Monday, Feb. 22 at 2pm for a radical self-care event focused on the unique needs of graduate students who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. This event will provide a safe space to reflect on your well-being and self-care needs as a graduate BIPOC, and will provide a space to check in with your body and participate in a guided meditation led by Jennifer Crewalk. This event is part of the Physical Well-Being for BIPOC Bodies series.
Jennifer Crewalk has been a practicing yoga and meditation facilitator for over 15 years. Jenn strives to lift up BIPOC communities through decolonized somatic practices that generate renewed energy to survive and thrive. Jenn is completing her Ph.D. this summer at George Mason University and currently works for the Center for Multicultural Equity and Access at Georgetown University. Jenn is a long time activist, ally and advocate for undocumented students and families.
