All graduate students of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage are invited to join a space to build community and solidarity in the wake of anti-Asian racism and violence. This is meant to be a safe space to be seen, heard, and supported by fellow Asian and Pacific Islander grad students across disciplines. During this gathering, we will share how the model minority myth has shown up in our lives and discuss how to dismantle it to advance racial justice for all people of color.

Open to Asian American, Pacific Islander, and Asian national graduate students of East Asian, Southeast Asian, South Asian, Southwest Asian, Filipino/a/x, Native Hawaiian, and/or Pacific Islander backgrounds. Come as you are; feel free to bring your lunch.
This is a follow-up to our previous API Grad Student Space, and we welcome new and returning participants to this event.
