The Fowler Center is hosting its second Impact Investing Competition on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST. The purpose of the competition is to connect and engage students with the Fowler Center's mission and teach them about impact investment through a unique exercise and networking opportunity.
  • Teams of 3 to 5 currently enrolled Case Western students are invited to register.
    • Note: If you are interested in participating but don't have a team, email rachel.horvath@case.edu and you will be connected to other students. 
  • This competition will encourage you to think like an investment analyst! Students will evaluate the price & strategic fit of given opportunities and make a recommendation for investment.
  • Gain insight into social enterprise and sustainable value creation, network students and professionals in the investment field, and potentially win a cash prize!

2021 Impact Competition Dates & Deadlines:

  • Register by Friday, Feb. 12 at 11:59 PM EST via CampusGroups and by filling out the Google Form Here. The Google Form is critical to complete as this is where you will indicate your team members. 
  • You will receive the Competition materials, including instructions and detailed presentation information, Monday, February 15th by 8 AM EST
  • You have until 12:00 PM EST on Thursday, February 25th to submit your pre-recorded presentation of your solution
  • The competition will take place on Friday February 26th starting at 8:00 AM EST.
    • You will be given a specific time slot to be available “live” on Zoom to watch your presentation and answer questions from the judges about your presentation/solution
  • The winner will be announced on Friday February 26th by 12:00 PM EST
    • All teams will receive feedback from judges on their presentation and investment decisions
