In this workshop, the presenters will discuss identifying the right journal, navigating data repositories, structuring your article, understanding the peer review process, open access publishing, publishing ethics, how to get your research noticed, and responsible sharing.

Presenter: David Parson, Publisher
David Parsons, MS, is a New York City-based public speaker for Elsevier, focusing on young and early-career researcher education. Prior to this role, he was the Publisher of a portfolio of genetics journals as well as the flagship title, Data in Brief. David has over a decade of experience in a range of other editorial positions and is prepared to take any questions researchers have about publishing.
